Craftmanship taken to an art form!
I found out that this is Young C. Park
His Bio and other pictures of his work can be seen at ... http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Park.htm
PLEASE ... take the time to study the pics there
Its all hand made, and I'm thinking from looking at the photos, it all works ... astounding!
Edit: It does work, all control linkages go to their respective parts and all surfaces and trim tabs are hooked up and move
His skill advanced so much during the making of the above Corsair that he built another one, even more detailed and finely finished
Both his Corsairs and the P51 can be seen at ... The Joe Martin Foundation Museum and Machine Shop Facility in Vista, CA ... http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/facility.htm
I never get tired of seeing others skilled craftsmanship, they are inspirational works works of art.

Another person who is an Artist at what he does ... Michael Paul Smith
" I was born in 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
It is still my Spiritual Geographical Center even though I have been living in New England now for over 40 years.
My model making skills are an accumulation of numerous and varied jobs I've had over the years. Everything from text book illustrator, wallpaper hanger and house painter, designer of museum displays, architectural model maker, and art director for retail stores.
My love of the 20th Century has been a constant inspiration for all of my work."
More wonderful pictures here ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/24796741@N05
note: these are dioramas, NOT full sized
Note: that Studebaker was my first car , Sun Valley Yellow/Hialeah Green Iridescent , Engine turned Aluminum dash, yellow leather diamond tuck & roll seats ... and although it needs some engine work .. I still have it
